Hebron: Restrictions on Palestinian Movement (1)
Hebron (known as Khalil in Arabic), home to 300,000 Palestinians, is a city split in two. In 1997, the city was divided into the H1 area, under Palestinian control, and H2, under Israeli control. Hebron’s old city, the place where H1 meets H2, is ground zero for Israeli Apartheid. -

Egypt's Iron Wall of Shame at Rafah (15)
Here are few new photos from "Rafah Iron Wall" project, which is being built by the Egyptian authorities on their side of Gaza borders. Egyptian government first denied such project and Americans said they have no part in it. More and more on-ground evidences are confirming that the project is in progress despite all calls to stop the construction due to its direct fatal impact on Gazans sensitive supplies such as medicines, food and some basic elements that keeps Gaza alive. -

This shows that the majority of the land in Palestine was owned by Palestinian Arabs in the various districts.After the 1948 war, 93% of land ownership was taken over by Israel, in particular the Jewish National Fund which expropriated almost all the land belonging to the 560 destroyed Palestinian villages and towns. -

This map shows the location of the unrecognised Bedouin villages in the Negev, where Israel does not recognise any part of the Arab ownershipof their ancestral land, as the British mandatory government did. Today the Jewish National Fund is evicting Bedouin and planting forests on these lands to make it impossible for them to be reclaimed -

Maps - Destruction by the IDF in Gaza Dec 2008-Jan 2009 (2)
Israeli forces ended their offensive against Hamas in Gaza on Saturday, 17 January, following the declaration of ceasefires by Hamas and Israel. Highlighted below are some of the main buildings identified as destroyed or damaged in Gaza City and the surrounding area based on analysis by Unosat of satellite imagery taken on 19 January. The image, taken for Unosat at the United Nations Institute for Training and Research, has helped researchers identify at least 1,008 destroyed or damaged buildings. According to B'Tselem, 1,387 Palestinians were killed during the three weeks of Operation Cast Lead, of whom 773 were noncombatants and only 330 were combatants. Lifta - Palestinian Village under threat (8)
These pictures by Angela Godfrey Goldstein of ICAHD show the ruins of the Palestinian village in Jerusalem evacuated in 1947, within the Green Line which has a real estate plan exlusively for Jewish residents, even though internal refugee Liftawis live nearby.FAST is proposing a new concept for planning this village to include the memory of the villages original residents. -

This map shows how the extremist religious settler groups like El Ad and Ateret Hacohanim are infiltrating and taking over Palestinian property in the Old City, and illegally tunnelling towards the Temple Mount or the Haram El Sharif.Palestinians are deliberately being displaced and dispossessed. -
Arab Cemetery in Mamilla - Site for the 'Museum of Tolerance? (5)
This ancient and historic Arab cemetery in Mamilla has been expropriated by the Jerusalem Municipality to build the "Museum of Tolerance", designed by US architect Frank Gehry, and funded by the Wiesenthal Centre.
