the Al-Bustan community, in opposition to the King's Garden Plans designed by Arieh Rahamimov promoted by the Jerusalem mayor Nir Barkat, involving wholesale illegal demolitions of Silwan homes.

which would have been built over this area once all the existing homes were demolished.
